The majority of Chicago children ages 0-2 enrolled in Head Start in 2006 lived on the Northwest, West, and Southwest sides of the city.

Three communities had more than 50 children ages 0-2 enrolled in Head Start in 2006—North Lawndale, Humboldt Park, and Austin. In contrast, nineteen communities had zero children 0-2 year-olds enrolled.
